Common Questions
What should I wear?
Come as you are! You'll see people dressed in a variety of ways, from casual to more traditional Sunday attire. Our desire is for you to feel comfortable joining us.
Do I have to be a member to attend?
Absolutely not! Our services are open to everyone. You don't have to be a member or have any particular church background to visit.
What is an Apostolic Pentecostal church?
We are a Bible-believing, Apostolic Pentecostal church that emphasizes the teachings and example of the early church found in the book of Acts. We believe in the oneness of God, salvation through Jesus Christ, baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. We believe church should be a place where people can experience God's presence and grow in their relationship with Him.
What happens during a typical service?
Our services include worship, prayer, preaching from the Bible, and opportunities to respond to God. We believe worship is more than something we observe; it's something we participate in!
Will I be expected to participate?
You're welcome to participate as much or as little as you're comfortable with. We want you to experience the service without feeling pressured or singled out.
Can I bring my children?
Absolutely! We love having families visit. We offer nursery care, Sunday School on Sunday mornings, and Children's Church on Wednesday evenings.
Does your youth group accept visitors?
Absolutely! Our Saturday youth services are open to all students. You don't have to attend First Church or be a member to participate. We'd love for you to come and bring a friend!
Do you have Spanish-language services?
Yes! We offer a Spanish-language service on Sundays at 5pm.
